Although Good News is united in message, it is filled with many musical influences. Jim is a huge fan of many different genres of music. He has been inspired by artists such as Bon Jovi, Lifehouse, Lecrae, Onerepublic, Paul Brandt, Hillsong United, and Matt Kearney. Good News remains acoustic at the core, but it is blended with rock, strings, hip hop, country, and many other styles.
